     vb. n. {Inquiring}.] [OE. enqueren, inqueren, OF. enquerre,
     F. enqu['e]rir, L. inquirere, inquisitum; pref. in- in +
     quarere to seek. See {Quest} a seeking, and cf. {Inquiry}.]
