  Triungulus \Tri*un"gu*lus\, n.; pl. {Triunguli}. [NL. See
     {Tri-}, and {Ungulate}.] (Zool.)
     The active young larva of any oil beetle. It has feet armed
     with three claws, and is parasitic on bees. See Illust. of
     {Oil beetle}, under {Oil}.
