  Sebaceous \Se*ba"ceous\, a. [NL. sebaceus, from L. sebum tallow,
     grease.] (Physiol.)
     Pertaining to, or secreting, fat; composed of fat; having the
     appearance of fat; as, the sebaceous secretions of some
     plants, or the sebaceous humor of animals.
