from its party-colored markings. The common European
species ({Clisiocampa neustria}) is striped with blue,
yellow, and red, with a white line on the back. The
American species ({Clisiocampa Americana} and {Clisiocampa
sylvatica}) are commonly called {tent caterpillars}. See
