     (Obs.), or {Dung} (Obs.); p. pr. & vb. n. {Dinging}.] [OE.
     dingen, dengen; akin to AS. dencgan to knock, Icel. dengja to
     beat, hammer, Sw. d[aum]nga, G. dengeln.]
