     vb. n. {Curving}.] [L. curvare., fr. curvus. See {Curve}, a.,
     {Curb}.]
     To bend; to crook; as, to curve a line; to curve a pipe; to
     cause to swerve from a straight course; as, to curve a ball
     in pitching it.
