1. A {word processor} for a wide range
of computers. The first version was sold in 1980 for {Data
General} machines, and by the end of 1993 versions were on
sale for {MS-DOS}, {Microsoft Windows} and {Macintosh}
computers. WordPerfect 6.0 for {Unix} was scheduled for
introduction in May 1994.
