  Sallenders \Sal"len*ders\, n. pl. [F. solandres, solandre.]
     (Far.)
     An eruption on the hind leg of a horse. [Written also
     {sellanders}, and {sellenders}.]

           a scurfy eruption called "mallenders" in the fore leg,
