  \phrenico-\(fr[e^]n- or fr[=e]n-), n. [Gr. frh`n, freno`s, the
     midriff, or diaphragm, the heart (as the seat of emotions),
     the mind.] (Anat.)
     A combining form meaning, of or pertaining to the diaphragm,
