  Paage \Pa"age\ (p[=a]"[asl]j; 48), n. [OF. paage, paiage, F.
     p['e]age, fr. (assumed) LL. pedaticum, fr. L. pes, pedis,
     foot. See {Pedage}, {Pedal}.] (O. Eng. Law)
     A toll for passage over another person's grounds. [Written
     also {peage} and {pedage}.] --Burke.
