  Bontebok \Bon"te*bok\ (b[o^]n"t[-e]*b[o^]k), n. [D. bont a sort
     of skin or fur, prop. variegated + bok buck.] (Zool.)
     The pied antelope of South Africa ({Alcelaphus pygarga}). Its
     face and rump are white. Called also {nunni}.
