     {nickel-and-dimed} or {nickeled-and-dimed}; p. pr. & vb. n.
     {nickel-and-diming} or {nickeling-and-diming}.]
     1. To harass or annoy with petty demands or for trivial
        reasons; specifically, to insist on minor concessions in a
        negotiation.
