     A Mohammedan crier of the hour of prayer; the Moslem official
     of a mosque who summons the faithful to prayer from a minaret
     five times a day. [Written also {mouezzin}, {mueddin},
     {muazzin}, {mu'adhdhin}, and {muwazzin}.]
