  microPLANNER
       
          A subset of {PLANNER}, implemented in {Lisp} by {Gerald
          Sussman} et al at {MIT}.  Its important features were
          goal-oriented, pattern-directed procedure invocation, an
          embedded knowledge base, and automatic {backtracking}.


       
          microPLANNER was superseded by {Conniver}.
