  malanders \mal"an*ders\ (m[a^]l"an*d[~e]rz), n. pl. [F.
     malandres, fr. L. malandria blisters or pustules on the neck,
     especially in horses.] (Far.)
     A scurfy eruption in the bend of the knee of the fore leg of
