     {dybbuks}; Hebr. {dybbukim} (d[=e]`b[=oo]k*[=e]m"). (Jewish
     folklore)
     the wandering soul of a dead person, or a demon, that enters
     the body of a living person and controls that body's
     behavior. It may be exorcised by religious rites.
