  Cartouch \Car*touch"\, cartouche \car*touche"\, n.; pl.
     {Cartouches}. [F. cartouche, It. cartuccia, cartoccio,
     cornet, cartouch, fr. L. charta paper. See 1st {Card}, and
     cf. {Cartridge}.]
