  Xeroderma \Xe`ro*der"ma\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. xhro`s dry + de`rma
     skin.] (Med.)
     (a) Ichthyosis.
     (b) A skin disease characterized by the presence of numerous
         small pigmented spots resembling freckles, with which are
         subsequently mingled spots of atrophied skin.
