     n. {Vibrating}.] [L. vibratus, p. p. of vibrare, v. t. & v.
     i., to shake, brandish, vibrate; akin to Skr. vip to tremble,
     Icel. veifa to wave, vibrate. See {Waive} and cf. {Whip}, v.
     t.]
