     life and spirit, vapid; akin to vappa vapid wine, vapor
     vapor. See {Vapor}.]
     Having lost its life and spirit; dead; spiritless; insipid;
     flat; dull; unanimated; as, vapid beer; a vapid speech; a
     vapid state of the blood.
