  Two-throw \Two"-throw`\, a. (Mach.)
     (a) Capable of being thrown or cranked in two directions,
         usually opposite to one another; as, a two-throw crank; a
         two-throw switch.
     (b) Having two crank set near together and opposite to one
         another; as, a two-throw crank shaft.
