     thwingan, G. zwingen, OHG. dwingan, thwingan, to press,
     oppress, overcome, Icel. [thorn]vinga, Sw. tvinga to subdue,


     constrain, Dan. tvinge, and AS. [thorn]["u]n to press, OHG.
