  Turanians \Tu*ra"ni*ans\, n. pl. (Ethnol.)
     (a) An extensive division of mankind including the Mongols
         and allied races of Asia, together with the Malays and
         Polynesians.
     (b) A group of races or tribes inhabiting Asia and closely
         related to the Mongols.
