  Telepathy \Te*lep"a*thy\, n. [Gr. ? far off + ?, ?, to suffer.]
     The sympathetic affection of one mind by the thoughts,
     feelings, or emotions of another at a distance, without
     communication through the ordinary channels of sensation.
