  Teak \Teak\ (t[=e]k), n. [Malayalam tekku.] (Bot.)
     A tree of East Indies ({Tectona grandis}) which furnishes an
     extremely strong and durable timber highly valued for
     shipbuilding and other purposes; also, the timber of the
     tree. [Written also {teek}.]
