From Bouvier's Law Dictionary, Revised 6th Ed (1856) [bouvier]:

TRITAVUS. The male ascendant in the sixth degree was so called among the
Romans. For the female ascendant in the same degree, the term is tritavia.
In forming genealogical tables this convenient term is still used.
