  Strangury \Stran"gu*ry\, n. [L. stranguria, Gr. ?; ?, ?, a drop
     + ? to make water, ? urine: cf. F. strangurie. See

     1. (Med.) A painful discharge of urine, drop by drop,
        produced by spasmodic muscular contraction.
