  Stercobilin \Ster`co*bi"lin\, n. [L. stercus dung + E. bilin.]
     (Physiol. Chem.)
     A coloring matter found in the faeces, a product of the
     alteration of the bile pigments in the intestinal canal, --
     identical with {hydrobilirubin}.
