  Sodalite \So"da*lite\, n. [Soda + -lite: cf. F. sodalithe.]
     (Min.)
     A mineral of a white to blue or gray color, occuring commonly
     in dodecahedrons, also massive. It is a silicate of alumina
     and soda with some chlorine.
