     prop, ascoter to prop, F. accoter, also Armor. skoaz the
     shoulder, skoazia to shoulder up, to prop, to support, W.
     ysgwydd a shoulder, ysgwyddo to shoulder. Cf. {Scoat}.]

     as a wheel, to prevent its rolling or slipping.
