  Remiped \Rem"i*ped\ (r?m"?-p?d), a. [L. remus oar + pes, pedis,
     foot: cf. F. r['e]mip[`e]de.] (Zool.)
     Having feet or legs that are used as oars; -- said of certain
     crustaceans and insects.

     (a) An animal having limbs like oars, especially one of
         certain crustaceans.
