  Rasure \Ra"sure\ (r[=a]"zh[-u]r; 135), n. [L. rasura, fr.
     radere, rasum, to scrape, to shave. See {Rase}, v.]
     1. The act of rasing, scraping, or erasing; erasure;
        obliteration.
