  Query \Que"ry\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Queried}; p. pr. & vb. n.
     {Querying}.]
     1. To put questions about; to elicit by questioning; to
        inquire into; as, to query the items or the amount; to
        query the motive or the fact.
