  Purparty \Pur"par`ty\, n. [OF. pourpartie; pour for + partie a
     part; cf. OF. purpart a respective part.] (Law)
     A share, part, or portion of an estate allotted to a
     coparcener. [Written also {purpart}, and {pourparty}.]
