  Procoelian \Pro*c[oe]"li*an\, a. [See {Proc[oe]le}.] (Anat &
     Zool.)
     Concave in front; as, proc[oe]lian vertebr[ae], which have
     the anterior end of the centra concave and the posterior
     convex.
