  Prance \Prance\ (pr[.a]ns), v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Pranced}; p.
     pr. & vb. n. {Prancing}.] [OE. prauncen; probably akin to
     prank, v. t. See Prank.]
     1. To spring or bound, as a horse in high mettle.
