  Polyuria \Pol`y*u"ri*a\, n. [NL. See {Poly-}, and {Urine}.]
     (Med.)
     A persistently excessive flow of watery urine, with low
     specific gravity and without the presence of either protein
     or sugar. It is generally accompanied with more or less
     thirst.
