  Pollucite \Pol"lu*cite\, n. [See {Pollux}, and 4th {Castor}.]
     (Min.)
     A colorless transparent mineral, resembling quartz, occurring
     with castor or castorite on the island of Elba. It is a
     silicate of alumina and c[ae]sia. Called also {pollux}.
