{Podophthalmic}.] (Zool.)
The stalk-eyed Crustacea, -- an order of Crustacea having the
eyes supported on movable stalks. It includes the crabs,
lobsters, and prawns. Called also {Podophthalmata}, and
{Decapoda}.
