Pinnule \Pin"nule\, n. [L. pinnula, dim. of pinna feather: cf.
F. pinnule.]
1. (Bot.) One of the small divisions of a decompound frond or
leaf. See Illust. of {Bipinnate leaf}, under {Bipinnate}.
