  Pelargonium \Pel`ar*go"ni*um\, prop. n. [NL., fr. Gr. pelargo`s
     a stork.] (Bot.)
     A large genus of plants of the order {Geraniace[ae]},
     differing from Geranium in having a spurred calyx and an
     irregular corolla.
