  Paronymous \Pa*ron"y*mous\, a. [Gr. parw`nymos; para` beside,
     near + 'o`noma a name.]
     1. Having the same derivation; allied radically; conjugate;
        -- said of certain words, as man, mankind, manhood, etc.
