  Panpsychism \Pan*psy"chism\, n. [See {Pan-}; {Psychic}.]
     The theory that all nature is psychical or has a psychical
     aspect; the theory that every particle of matter has a
     psychical character or aspect. -- {Pan*psy"chic}, a. --
