  Panegyric \Pan`e*gyr"ic\, Panegyrical \Pan`e*gyr"ic*al\, a. [L.
     panegyricus, Gr. panhgyrico`s, from panh`gyris an assembly of
     the people, a high festival; pa^, pa^n all + 'a`gyris,
     'agora`, an assembly.]
     Containing praise or eulogy; encomiastic; laudatory.
