From Bouvier's Law Dictionary, Revised 6th Ed (1856) [bouvier]:

  PROCESSIONING. A term used in Tennessee to signify the manner of 
  ascertaining the boundaries of land, as provided for by the laws of that 
  state. Carr. & Nich. Comp. of Stat. of Tenn. 348. The term is also used in
