1 definition found From Bouvier's Law Dictionary, Revised 6th Ed (1856) [bouvier]: PEONIA, Spanish law. A portion of land which was formerly given to a simple soldier, on the conquest of a country. It is now a quantity of land, of different size in different provinces.
