     ottomanno; -- from Othoman, Othman, or Osman, the name of a
     sultan who assumed the government of Turkey about the year
     1300. Cf. {Osmanli}, {Ottoman} a stuffed seat.]
     Of or pertaining to the Turks; as, the Ottoman power or
     empire.
