     n. {Nurturing}.]

        [1913 Webster]

     2. To educate; to bring or train up.

        [1913 Webster]

He was nurtured where he had been born. --Sir H.
                                                    Wotton.
        [1913 Webster]

Syn: To nourish; nurse; cherish; bring up; educate; tend.

with a fostering care, like that of a mother; as, to

            [1913 Webster]
