  Nipple \Nip"ple\ (n[i^]p"p'l), n. [Formerly neble, a dim. of
     neb. See {Neb}, {Nib}.]
     1. (Anat.) The protuberance through which milk is drawn from
        the breast or mamma; the mammilla; a teat; a pap.
