  Muskogees \Mus*ko"gees\, n. pl.; sing. {Muskogee}. (Ethnol.)
     A powerful tribe of North American Indians that formerly
     occupied the region of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. They
     constituted a large part of the Creek confederacy. [Written
     also {Muscogees}.]
